Bachelor in Primary School Physical Education (BPSPE) for 8 semesters contains 150 credits/243 ECTS. The course structure consists of: (1) university 24 credits/40 ECTS; (2) Faculty 12 credits/19 ECTS; (3) Study Program 86 credits/139 ECTS; (4) Study outside of study programme 8 credits/13 ECTS; and (5) outside UNY 20 credits/32 ECTS. The percentage distribution of each type of subject is presented in the following table.

           The Study Program Curriculum Development Team at the Faculty of Sports Science (FSS) UNY compiles a curriculum guided by the curriculum development procedures that have been set out in the University Curriculum Guide book. The curriculum used in the 2020/2021 academic year is the Freedom Learning-Independent Campus Curriculum based on the Decree of the Rector of UNY No. 7.23/UN34/IX/2020 regarding the FSS UNY curriculum in 2020. The curriculum development was based on the Freedom Learning-Independent Campus Curriculum. This curriculum is adjusted to Permendikbud Number 3 of 2020 concerning National Higher Education Standards, which stated that students have the right to study for three semesters outside the study program. The development of the study program curriculum at FSS UNY follows the Rector's Regulation Number 5 of 2020 concerning the Freedom Learning-Independent Campus Curriculum for the Applied and Undergraduate Program of UNY.
